Who we are
The Unique Women Intern’l is founded to give support and financial assistance to the less-privileged.
We take care (on regular basis) of almost 200 Widows as well as the Orphans, the Fatherless and Motherless to give them hope & joy, for them to have meaningful lives and to make them achieve the purpose of existence in life – all to the glory of God.
On every 3rd Saturday of the month, we hold monthly meetings with the Widows for Prayers, Counseling, Medical check-up, financial assistance for children-tuition, for rent payment as well as for Empowerment Program.
We now sponsor 30 Orphans, Fatherless & Motherless in Nursery, Primary, Secondary Schools and also in various Universities/Higher Institutions (including the Handicapped).
Our Activities
Widows or Orphans to start a Trade and be able to take care of their families. (We have 250 Widows now).
Widows or Orphans by sponsoring them in any vocational training of their choice in order to be able to carry their family’s responsibilities.
Brilliant Orphans by paying their Fees in Elementary & Secondary Schools as well as Universities in order to better their lives. (We have 24 of them now).
Handicapped to attend Schools and to do vocational trainings in such Schools.
Homeless Widow to have a place to live and raise her children comfortably.
Gifts of Clothing Materials and Foodstuff to give comfort to the needy and the less-privileged.
Our Widows Meeting holds on every 3rd Saturday during which time they are given an amount of money and they are all tested medically for Blood Pressure & Blood Sugar and given some minor medications – advice given to them to go for treatments in case of major ailments.
Food items are distributed from time to time and there always a Get-together held in April, July and December when they are also trained in various Vocations & Empowerment Program.
